Jorge Landeck
Keynote: “The Life Cycle of Renewable Energy Communities: The Portuguese Case”
In this keynoted models, flexibility management strategies, and the critical role of citizen participation in building resilient and inclusive energy systems.
Short Bio: Jorge Landeck is an Auxiliary Professor at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra and co-founder of Cleanwatts Digital. He holds a PhD in Technological Physics and brings more than 25 years of experience in instrumentation, industrial data communications, and distributed applications. Throughout his career, he has contributed to numerous European R&D projects, developed innovative remote management systems, and authored several scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals. He is also co-founder of ISA – Intelligent Sensing Anywhere, a pioneering technology company established in 1992.

Catarina Pinto
Keynote: “Physical AI – Is it Production Ready?”
In this keynote, Catarina will explore the current state of Physical AI, discussing the technological maturity, opportunities, and barriers that organizations encounter when deploying intelligent systems in the physical world. The session will provide valuable perspectives on the convergence of AI, robotics, and cloud technologies, and what it takes to bring these innovations from the lab into real-world applications.
Short Bio: Catarina Pinto is a Senior AI Strategist at AWS and a PhD engineer who has spent a decade deploying AI where it meets the physical world — from ML-powered fleet coordination systems at Tesla to robotics at Amazon. Trained in Bioengineering and Product Innovation across MIT, FEUP, and Carnegie Mellon University, she works at the frontier of agentic and embodied AI systems, helping transform cutting-edge research into production-ready solutions.

Pier Luigi Dovesi
Keynote: “Advancing Physical AI: The AMD Open Ecosystem for Autonomy”
In this keynote, Pier Luigi Dovesi will discuss AMD's vision for advancing Physical AI through an AMD Open Ecosystem approach. The session will explore emerging technologies powering autonomous systems, the role of foundation models and world models in enabling intelligent behavior, and the opportunities and challenges ahead for robotics and autonomy at scale.
Short Bio: Pier Luigi Dovesi leads the Robotics & Autonomous Systems team at AMD Silo AI, where he drives research and development in VLAs, world models, and perception for autonomous systems. He is also Chair and Co-Founder of The Good AI Lab (GAL), a non-profit organization advancing AI research for humanitarian impact in partnership with Doctors Without Borders (MSF). His research spans domain adaptation, generative AI, and safety-critical perception, with contributions published in leading venues including CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, BMVC, 3DV, and ICRA.
